I qualified as a nurse in 2012 and since then my career has taken me from intensive care to community nursing, to general practice where I really found my love for primary care. I enjoy the continuity that comes with caring for the same group of patients throughout their lifetime and the relationship that you form with your patients.

After completing additional training and roles I joined the Ruskington Medical Practice in 2022 as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. I am happy to see most problems and have a special interest in women’s health and menopause. In my free time, you can find me with my horse doing a bit of dressage or just enjoying the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside with my rescue dogs.

The Advanced Practitioner role is both challenging and interesting and we work closely with our GP colleagues so that we are always learning and developing. If your practitioner is unsure, they will always seek support from one of the GPs on site and it won’t delay your care.
